This month being February, American Heart Month, there have been numerous articles written with suggestions on heart healthy eating. To help put all those tips into practice, St. Vincent's Family Care in Hoover is offering a Heart Healthy Cooking Event on Tuesday, February 21, from 5:30 - 6:30pm.
This event will include cooking demonstrations with taste-tempting samples, healthy eating tips from a registered dietitian, and light refreshments. Local family physicians--Dr. Sherri Clark and Dr. Mark Ticola--will be available to answer health questions.
The evening event is free, but reservations are required. Call Dial-A-Nurse at 205-939-7878 to reserve a spot.
