Hear the Newton Community Chorus perform Handel's 'Isreal in Egypt'

George Frideric Handel's epic masterpiece 'Messiah' is a beloved Christmas tradition for many.  However, Handel has created many wonderful musical journeys and his 'Isreal in Egypt' is among them.  The Newton Community Chorus is proud to perform 'Isreal in Egypt' at First Baptist Church, 848 Beacon Street in Newton, Massachusetts on Saturday, January 28th at 8PM.  'Isreal in Egypt' is a sweeping score based on select passages from Psalms and Exodus in the Hebrew Bible.
