As I have mentioned in past articles, being overweight does not really help someone with Type II Diabetes or any illness. Trying to cut out the foods that will boost your sugar levels would be a good idea. Of course, it is easier said than done. What if you did not just change the ways you eat or live. How about trying to change the way you think, you have nothing to lose. Marg Sommers explains, "Losing just 5 to 10 percent of your weight can lower your blood pressure and cholesterol and reduce the risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes." That sounds great, but where do you get started? Question of the day. Try to meditate and put your mind in tune with your body and soul. Everyday take a few minutes out of your crazy morning or day and think positive and face what challenges you have right on. Think today is the day I am going to eat healthy, exercise, and feel great. I bet you will be surprised with the outcome. Try to eat foods that you know are good for you, and take the foods that are hurting you out. My golden rule is, if you cannot pronounce it do not eat it. Read labels, and yes counting calories is helpful. If you need more information on this please email me at lucky7158@aol.com and ask me. Also, go on the website for Diabetes, www.diabeticsurvivalkit.com you will get healthy recipes and information on there for diabetes.
Good Luck,
