Healthy Recipe from "The Biggest Loser" Contestant

Did your New's Year Resolution entail eating healthier foods and potentially going on a diet in order to lose some weight? One of the biggest conceptions regarding such a resolution is that healthier eating and dieting require consumption of less tasty/tasteful foods. However, for those who watch NBC's The Biggest Loser it is easy to observe that this is not the case. Each week the contestants are able to consume, and sometimes create, healthy and nutritious foods that are delicious, affordable, and easy to make.

Case in point: Jackson's Spaghetti Squash Recipe

Brief nutritional facts: this meal is less than 300 calories, has less than 7g of fat, has low amounts of sugar, cholesterol and sodium, and has high amounts of fiber and protein.

Essential Ingredients: Spaghetti Squash, Ground turkey, spaghetti sauce, an onion, mushrooms, baby spinach, mozzarella cheese, garlic, and salt and pepper.
