Back to school means back to bagged lunches and after school snacks. Classics like peanut butter and jelly and granola bars often find their way into the brown sack—not to the enthusiasm of your child.
One of my favorite magazines is Family Fun. They want you to think outside the box—the lunch box that is. Thursday September 5th, Family Fun is hosting a twitter chat about #BackToSchoolFood.
Magazines including Parents Magazine, Family Circle, Rachael Ray Magazine, Eating Well, and All Recipes will be contributing to the hash tag (#) throwing out ideas. Along with these magazines, bloggers such as J.M. Hirsch, the food editor at the Associated Press and a couple moms with blogs who are packing lunches on the daily will be chiming in.
This twitter chat is definitely worth checking out—I believe in healthy eating and being a great role model as a mom, girlfriend, and career girl just like you.
Please share your best lunch ideas and ways to be healthy!
