Popcorn is a healthy snack.
It is important to select healthy snacks to prevent weight gain. Popcorn is healthy before adding butter, salt, chocolate and cheese. So the next time you purchase popcorn at the movie theater or baseball game, avoid adding butter and cheese toppings.
While snacking at home, prepare healthy popcorn. Here are ways to prepare healthy popcorn: pop kernels in an air popcorn popper or use the old fashioned way on top of the stove. Season the popcorn with herbs or lite seasonings. Also, find low calorie popcorn recipes online or in cookbooks.
