Where should one holiday when they seek both the health benefits of the sea and of laughter in only a short amount if time? Look no further than the third-largest island in Europe and the twentieth-largest island on Earth - Ireland.
From Dublin to Howth, Ireland's Eye to Dún Laoghaire the fresh sea air, nature, and seafood are plentiful. Views of the green Irish coastline are spectacular. Locals are friendly and during the recent heatwave, were taking advantage of the sun and filling up on some of that natural Vitamin D at the outdoor dining and drinking establishments.
Be sure to sail along on a Dublin Bay Cruise to Dún Laoghaire and to check out the menu at Wrights Findlater in Howth, which also has an outdoor market on Sundays with enticing local goods, amongst the international foods. When in Dublin, take a stroll or go for a run in St. Stephen's Green and enjoy a Guiness at the famous Temple Bar Pub. For a fabuous night full of fun entertainment and laughter, be sure to visit one of the nation's oldest gay bars and clubs in Dublin, The George. It has been around for 25 years and is also home to some of Ireland's best-known drag queens like Shirley Temple Bar, Veda Beaux Reves, and Davina Devine.
