Start your day off right, enjoy a bowl of 100% whole grain oatmeal. Whole grain and whole wheat are recommended to lower cholesterol and maintain a healthy life. The American Heart Association recommends eating whole grain foods daily.

Oatmeal is a healthy breakfast choice. Here are benefits of eating oatmeal daily: provides lots of fiber, helps you poop regularly, and lowers saturated fat and cholesterol.

Plain oatmeal is healthy and recommended to lower cholesterol and fat. If you dislike the taste of plain oatmeal add a small serving of brown sugar. If you are a diabetic or monitoring your caloric intake add a low calorie sweetener. Also, add fresh fruit to your oatmeal. Exercise + Healthy Eating = Weight Loss
