Healthy living: Are child vaccine programs really safe?

If you are the parent of children then you are more than likely aware of the multitude of immunizations recommended by the U.S. Centers of Disease Control (CDC). And if your child is over the age of six, they have probably received about 29 vaccines already. The recommendations include another 16 vaccines from ages seven to 18. But are all of these vaccines really necessary or is there something else going on?

Recently, Dr. Lucija Tomljenovic, PhD published a revealing investigative report that strongly suggests that not only are many of these vaccines not effective at preventing diseases, but some of the vaccines have extremely harmful side affects that the general public is purposely not made aware of.

Tomljenovic's paper focuses on the British health system, but childhood vaccines are the same in other developed countries.

The cover-up

To conduct her research, Tomljenovic simply put in some Freedom of Information Act requests to obtain the transcripts of private meetings between the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunization (JCVI) and British health officials. The JCVI is allegedly an "independent expert advisory committee" charged with making responsible vaccination recommendations. But what Tomljenovic discovered was far from responsible and, in fact, downright disturbing.

By distilling the information from numerous meetings, Tomljenovic ascertained that data regarding severe side affects and contraindications was intentionally kept from both health practitioners and the general public in an effort to reach targeted vaccination rates. What's even more deplorable is that British health authorities have been practicing such deception for the last 30 years.

By reviewing documents that speak for themselves, Tomljenovic also uncovered that the JCVI purposefully ignored safety concerns that came up and they censored data that may place vaccination programs in a negative light - all in an effort to convince the public that vaccines are effective, safe, and necessary. You can read the actual report here.

What about the U.S?

The same vaccines that are used in England are used in the U.S. In fact, our vaccine campaign is every bit as rigorous - and unfortunately, just as fraudulent as well. Need proof? When was the last time your doctor gave the ingredients contained in your child's vaccination and explained what they were? It's just not common knowledge, is it? Here are some substances contained in vaccines that you might not be aware of:

  • Toxic metals
  • Known carcinogens (yes, that means cancer-causing agents)
  • Genetically-modified viruses and bacteria
  • Untested antibiotics

Here are some questions to ask your doctor before blindly assuming that vaccines are safe and effective:

  • What does the research of Dr. Michael Odent say about the link between asthma and the "required" whooping cough vaccine?
  • Are you aware of the studies that suggest a possible relationship between the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine and autism? If you are aware of it and disagree, can I see the studies that serve as evidence to support your opinion?
  • Can you show me a list of ingredients contained in the vaccine solution before you inject my infant?

Where vaccines are concerned, it pays to make an informed decision. The fact is that vaccines are pharmaceutical products that have the potential to carry serious risks. And unfortunately, vaccine programs are underwritten by Big Pharma companies that have a lot to lose - economically speaking.

Vaccination risks are greater for some people than they are for others. Talk to more than one trusted health professional before assuming that vaccinations are a safe choice for your child.
