Healthy Fruit Smoothies

I love smoothies; but they can be both expensive and unhealthy to purchase out. So, I quite often make them at home instead. I know this recipe by heart! It's great as a snack, breakfast or dessert.

What You Need:
(Makes: 4 servings)

1 cup of fat-free milk
1/2 cup of plain or vanilla yogurt
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract (if using the plain yogurt)
1 & 1/2 cups of fresh or frozen strawberries, thawed
1/2 cup of canned unsweetened pineapple chunks or any other fruit you choose
1/4 cup of nonfat dry milk powder
4 ice cubes
2 tablespoons of sugar

What to Do:
STEP 1)
In a blender, combine all ingredients; cover and process for 30 to 45 seconds or until blended. Stir if necessary. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately.

STEP 2) Enjoy!
