Healthy Eats at the Dodger Stadium Flea Market, Sunday July 18

This weekend is a big one for Angelenos, Phillip Dane (the originator of the Fairfax Flea Market) chose a fantastic new location for LA’s latest Flea Market: Dodger Stadium.

I will be going regularly and not just for the vintage clothes, hand made bags, antiques and jewelry – but the FOOD. I just discovered that there will almost twenty food trucks in attendance, serving up their delicious dishes. My favorite food truck will also be there: the Border Grill. When hunger strikes, walk right up to their black truck and order a ceviche. If you need something to cool down in what’s most likely going to be record-breaking weather, order one of their homemade minty-lime coolers, which I guarantee can cut through some of the day’s heat!

While there will be other food trucks present, I like the Border Grill’s history, their focus on sustainability, devotion to Los Angeles and fresh ingredients. Most importantly, I love their food! Plus you can eat most of their menu items and stay healthy.

Think of me as you bite into a taco while overlooking downtown LA. Life in our city doesn’t get any better than this!

(And stay tuned while I show you how easy it is to make a healthy taco, inspired by the creators of the Border Grill!)
