Healthy…Easy Homemade Pizza

Interested in a healthy and fun dinner that your children can help you make?  This easy to make homemade pizza recipe is quick and fun.  From start to tummy is only 20 minutes!!

Ingredients:

  • Pizza Sauce
  • Veggies (thinly sliced) (squash, raisins, bell peppers, tomatoes)
  • Meat (Optional) (Turkey pepperoni, ground turkey, sliced chicken)
  • Garlic
  • Oregano
  • Shredded Cheese (Mozzarella is my favorite)
  • Flat Out Bread (I usually find this in the deli section of the grocery store and typically use the whole wheat options)
  • Olive Oil

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 375˚ and grease a cookie sheet lightly with olive oil
  2. Place the Flat Out’s on the cookie sheet (1 flat out per person, ½ per child)
  3. Top with sauce, garlic, and oregano.  Add Cheese. (Your child can help you!)
  4. Add veggies and meat (optional) (Your child can help you!)
  5. Put in the oven and bake about 10 – 15 minutes (until the ends start to turn up a little bit because they are crispy. 
  6. Serve and enjoy!!
