Health & Wellness expo coming in May

San Antonio has a healthy reason to focus on their wellness with the Health and Wellness Expo coming on May 24th. It will be held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This is the first year for the expo launched by our local news service: News 4 San Antonio, FOX San Antonio and CW 35. These stations want to promote the good health of our community. The event is free and open to the public so look for the health exhibits and demos plus seminars that are meant to educate and entertain.

Some of the local sponsors of the expo include Foundation Surgical Hospital, CPS Energy, H-E-B, South Texas Radiology Imaging and Smiles by CDO

This event is will feature many exhibitors that cover a variety of wellness topics such as local clinics, dental care, beauty, pharmacy, fitness, allergy clinic, nutrition, sports, home health, marital arts, weight loss clinics, hearing aids, health foods, bike tours, dermatology, physical therapy, etc.

And there will be a special appearance by Dr. Mehmet Oz, the well-known health expert with his own TV show on News4 San Antonio. He is professor and vice-chairman of surgery at Columbia University.
