Eating healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables is not always the most appealing idea, especially considering the high costs that go along with eating healthy. This article will provide you with, tasty healthy recipe ideas, on a budget. Fruit and vegetable kabobs is a recipe that the kids are sure to love. All you need for this recipe is wooden Kabob sticks and your choice of fruits, vegetables or meat. I like to use grapes, apples, strawberries or melon in my fruit kabobs. In the veggie kabobs I usually include green peppers, onions, red peppers, potatoes and even some lean chicken or beef, and then I put the kabobs on the grill. Another healthy recipe is Ants on a log, another kid favorite, which includes celery, peanut butter and raisins. Asian salad is a recipe that is good for the entire family. Asian salad consists of green cabbage, carrots, red radishes, apples, chicken, peanuts and vinaigrette. Then there is my favorite, stuffed peppers, which includes green peppers, brown rice, ground beef, diced tomatoes and tomato sauce.
