Long Island Pet Professionals, LLC, (LIPP), very happy to present our first networking event for ALL Small Business owners in and out of the pet industry for this very important topic – ‘Health Care Reform Essentials – what every small business owner needs to know.’ The event is taking place on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 7pm in the Peconic Room of the Hyatt East End located next to the Long Island Aquarium in Riverhead, NY.

Long Island Pet Professionals is delighted to bring you Insurance Expert Gia F. Heeg a regional accounts manager and independent agent representing Aflac New York. Gia is going to give a very important presentation on Health Care Reform and cover: Essential questions every business must ask in 2013; Important facts about health care exchanges and individual requirements; Overview of health plan coverage; Small Business Tax Credit; 5 health care reform dates and much more.

“Gia’s wealth of knowledge in the insurance industry, her dynamic energy and experience in networking and giving presentations is going to make this limited seating event a must attend event for any small business owner,” stated Nancy Hassel, founder & President of Long Island Pet Professionals. “While our events are always geared towards the pet industry, with the importance of this event topic, I wanted to open the event to any small business owner who wants learn about how the healthcare reform act could affect their small business.”

There will be plenty of networking while before and after Gia’s presentation attendees are encouraged to bring plenty of business cards. A buffet dinner will be served and there will be a cash bar. And as a special thank you for coming – we are delighted to have goody bags for each attendee too!

The cost for this networking event is $40.00 per person for official Members of Long Island Pet Professionals and $50.00 per person for Non-members. This is our first open event for attendees outside of the pet industry.
