After consideration of the Affordable Healthcare Act and law including the pressure it has been placing upon religious groups for birth control, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor placed a temporary stop to this matter for the benefit of Catholic religious groups so this law can be further heard by legal hearing. Using this legal choice, it allows all persons involved the benefit to use their own personal option when considering birth control as they are not being forced by the government to do so. Because of Justice Sotomayor's movement, this is only step one but it is the beginning of allowing persons to speak out on their personal beliefs and not be forced to use what the government wishes them to follow.
Ever since this Affordable Healthcare Act has come about there has been multiple questions coming about and one of the many questions has been why a person is being forced to follow governmental laws when they could make personal choices on private care insurance. It actually seems as if the government wishes to get personally involved with someone medically and that is an area that should only be open to a medical doctor and his or her patient, not the government. This health care issue is going to be a long battle in court but at least now the Supreme Court has spoken on behalf of the people; only time will provide the final answer and hopefully that answer will side with what is right and Constitutional.
