CVS/Pharmacy and Direct Relief USA
CVS/pharmacy recently announced a partnership with Direct Relief USA for the second year, offering up to $6 million in free flu shots to community clinic and health center patients who lack health insurance this flu season. Through this free flu shot clinic, CVS/pharmacy and Direct Relief want to ensure that the cost to receive a vaccine is not a barrier to the people without health insurance in Dallas this flu season. As recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), annual vaccination is needed for protection against the flu.
