Healing and Happiness you can afford - your bliss awaits

There are spas and there is JeJu .  This is what you will read when you walk through the glass doors of JeJu Sauna and Wellbeing.  JeJu is a Korean inspired Sauna and Spa located in Gwinnett County, off of Pleasant Hill road.  It is an oasis of peace, health and wellness, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of busy mall traffic and interstate 85, here you will find Korean spa traditions that have been practice for thousands of years, which aid healing to the body and happiness to the soul.

Mrs.Chusim Wheat , 52, owner and operator of JeJu brought her homeland traditions to Gwinnett County almost two and half years ago.  Mrs. Wheat's philosophy for sharing these wonderful traditions with one of Georgia's largest growing suburbs, is to have a place where families can come, relax, rejuvenate and be together outside of all the busyness.   In her own life she saw how her family and friends were moving a mile a minute and not connecting.  The one thing that concerned her was how many pills she saw people in her life taking everyday.  Mrs. Wheat and her husband knew there must be a better way for people to heal their bodies and minds, without so many pills.  So, Jehu was born.

Jehu Sauna is named after Mrs. Wheat's native island in South Korea.  It was her husband's idea to name the sauna and spa after the place she was born and raised.

When you walk inside the Sauna,  your senses are awaken by the healing scents of Chinese herbs and aromatherapies.  Jehu , has separate areas for men and women are both furnished with operated lockers, a relaxing lounge and indoor spa, and Healing Rooms. (This area is the only part of the spa that is separated into male and female.  The rest of the spa accommodates male and female. The sauna is modeled after the traditional Korean bathing houses ( so, no clothing is allowed in the bathing area), there are different heated mineral pools and an indoor spa.

When entering the area that occupies the sauna huts, there is a sense of family and community.   You will find an appetizing Korean restaurant serving all natural smoothies and juices, made by hand.  Also a workout room upstairs, arcade for the kids , and the mineral swimming pool.   Throughout this area rest the beautiful sauna huts.  Each hut was sculpt for healing and wellbeing.  One of the most creative and impressive huts is the  The Jewel hut, each hut is designed in the shape of a circle, Mr. Wheat's philosophy here was to allow the healing energy of each hut to  wrap around the body, so the individual can reap the benefits completely.  The Jewel hut is lavished with semi -precious stones, crystals and amethyst.  These stones are known to bring balance to the body and peace to the mind.

Experiencing these wonderful saunas, mineral pools, and sauna huts will only cost you for a day $25.  Leaving Jeju Sauna will not only bring happiness and health.  It is something you can afford to do for the mind, body and spirit when the jungle gets a little crazy and the pocketbook is a little tight.

Jeju Sauna offers many other services for a very reasonable price. This beautiful sauna and spa is sharing some ancient Korean traditions that will afford the community , to find bliss and wellbeing in this economy.
