While GTA 5's shooting system is nothing that is breaking new ground, it does provide the necessary element for players to become certifiable BA's when taking to the streets of Los Santos.
The shooting system with just a handgun or an automatic is fairly standard for games you have played from Rockstar in the past. But this shooting system is not what makes the experience worth it. It's the variety in the arsenal that players are able to enjoy.
In GTA 5, there are a number of weapons for people to choose from. Once you have enough money, players can go to their nearest Ammunation to acquire the necessary or unnecessary goods of their choosing. With countless amounts of weapons to choose from, you should have no problem playing to your own style and preference.
There are plenty of automatic weapons to choose from such as a Minigun, MG, Combat MG, and more. Then there's a few sniper rifles to choose from as well as three different types of rifles for players to buy. Finally, if you prefer hand-to-hand combat more, you can get your hands on a knife or nightstick
From an explosive standpoint, you can acquire some tear gas, grenades or sticky bombs. You can purchase a Jerry Can that is full of gasoline. If you want to pour a lot of gas in one spot, like a building, you can then leave a trail of it leading outside, then you can shoot a bullet at it, igniting it and then of course you can imagine what happens to the building next.
Sniping in GTA 5 is once again a very entertaining, fun part of GTA 5. Taking out wildlife to make some extra cash is one way to utilize the sniper rifles in the game, but so is just random sniping around the world of Los Santos.
Most of the guns that you can purchase from Ammunation have customizable attachments that you can add to weapons. These help you add your own flavor and touch. For sniper rifles, it's good to have an advanced scope on it with a suppressor.
This will help cut down on the amount of noise your weapon makes when shooting it and it helps provide some additional accuracy to whatever target you are going after. The advanced scope is especially helpful when trying to hit a moving target like an animal or a car.
