Heads up for headbands

Headbands are being see in a variety of colors and styles today.  I still remember when I thought it was a little obnoxious to wear headbands, but now they are coming out with so many different styles it is easy to find something that goes along with your wardrobe or personality.  The big question is, where can you find deals on them, and what can you do to get the most bang for your buck.

The truth is, many headbands are simple to make.  You can buy the simple headband at any Walgreens, CVS, or Target, then hit up a craft store and deck it out to your taste.  I personally have a love for flowers and bows lately, but feathers are really popular right now as well.

The bow headband above is from Bebe, and it is actually 39 dollars.  The truth is places like Forever 21, and Urban outfitters have similar styles for half or a third of that price.

The next hard thing is finding one that either fits your head, or is comfortable.  In my experience, it seems that the best headbands are the stretchy ones.  You can maneuver them in any way you like.  Urban Outfitters has a stretch headband with a flower on it.  Its 16 dollars, but looks so darn cute.

I think headbands are a great accessory to add to the wardrobe whether it is one you made yourself or one you purchased, they can go a long way, and the best thing is that it can make a bad hair day look great!
