The Verizon IndyCar Series heads north of the border to Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for the 2014 Honda Indy Toronto, dubbed “2inT.O.,” taking place Friday through Sunday, July 18th through 20th. Joining the IndyCars in Toronto are the Indy Lights presented by Cooper Tires, Cooper Tires USF2000, Acura Sports Car Challenge featuring the Pirelli World Challenge Series, the Toyo Tires F1600 Championship, the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge and the SPEED Energy Formula Off-Road Trucks.

“2inT.O.” refers to the doubleheader format for the event, with full races taking place both Saturday and Sunday. Toronto is one of three doubleheader events on the IndyCar schedule this season, along with Detroit and Houston, which have already been completed.

There are a number of festivals taking place on the Exhibition Place grounds during race weekend. TasteFest will feature food and beverage samples, food trucks and gourmet food vendors, while the Craft BeerFest will feature local brews and numerous craft beer gardens. AdrenalineFest puts fans in the seats and the pits, with the Honda Pit Stop Challenge, the Honda Jr. Riders Program, STIHL Timbersports and the FireFit Championships. Learn more about the off-track activities for the weekend here.

Friday, July 18th is Fan Friday at the track, sponsored by Honda (admission is free – a donation to Make-A-Wish Canada is suggested), and practice starts at 8:05 a.m. ET; three series will qualify on Friday: Acura Sports Car Challenge, Toyo Tires F1600 Championship and Cooper Tires USF2000.

On Saturday, July 19th, the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge kicks off the day with qualifying at 7:30 a.m. ET. IndyCar qualifying for race No. 1 takes place at 10 a.m. ET, with six series running the first of the weekend’s races throughout the day, highlighted by the IndyCar race at 3 p.m. ET; the day will also include the first of two races for the SPEED Energy Formula Off-Road Trucks.

On Sunday, July 20th, the second round of qualifying for IndyCars takes place at 10 a.m. ET, sandwiched between the second USF2000 race and the rest of the day’s racing action; the second IndyCar race of the weekend goes green at 3 p.m. ET.
