The NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series visits Baytown, Texas, near Houston, for the 2014 O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA SpringNationals, taking place this weekend, Friday through Sunday, April 25th through 27th, at Royal Purple Raceway. It’s event No. 6 on the 2014 schedule, and features three of the Mello Yello divisions – Top Fuel, Funny Car and Pro Stock – along with the NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series, the Nitro Harley Series and the Lucas Oil Series.

The weekend kicks off on Friday, April 25th with Lucas Oil Series qualifying at 8 a.m. CT, followed by Mello Yello Series qualifying at 4 and 6:30 p.m. CT, Nitro Harley qualifying at 5:45 p.m. CT and Pro Mod qualifying at 6 p.m. CT. Qualifying continues on Saturday, April 26th with Lucas Oil Series eliminations at 8 a.m. CT, Nitro Harley qualifying at 12:15 and 2:45 p.m. CT, Mello Yello Series qualifying at 12:30 and 3 p.m. CT and Pro Mod qualifying at 2 and 4:30 p.m. CT. On Sunday, April 27th, eliminations begin at 11 a.m. CT.

Tickets are still available for the event, including three-day weekend packages for $105 (three-day spectator side admission) and $130 (three-day reserved pit-side admission). Daily passes are also available – Friday passes are $26 (spectator side) and $40 (pit side), while Saturday and Sunday passes are $45 (spectator side) and $55 (pit side) each day; junior ticket prices are also available.
