NASCAR’s Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series visit Richmond International Raceway this weekend, Friday and Saturday, April 25th and 26th, for the Toyota Owners 400 and the ToyotaCare 250, respectively. Also on the schedule is the K&N Pro Series East, competing in the Blue Ox 100.

Denny Hamlin’s Short Track Showdown will take place at nearby South Boston Speedway on Thursday, April 24th. The charity race features some of today’s top NASCAR drivers against some of the best Late Model drivers in the region, with proceeds benefitting the Denny Hamlin Foundation. Among the drivers scheduled to participate: Hamlin, Jeb Burton, Kyle Busch, Timothy Peters, Matt Kenseth, Hermie Sadler, Ryan Preece and David Ragan. Find out more about the race here.

New at the track this year: the Track Takeover on Saturday, April 26th. All ticket holders get exclusive access to the track itself just hours before the green flag, with the opportunity to sign the start/finish line, take a lap around the track, enjoy live music and NASCAR driver Q&As and much more.

Qualifying for the K&N Pro Series East, Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup races takes place Friday, April 25th at 2:05, 3:10 and 5:10 p.m. ET, respectively; the Nationwide Series ToyotaCare 250 gets the green flag at 7 p.m. ET, followed by the Blue Ox 100 for the K&N Pro Series East at approximately 9:40 p.m. ET. The Sprint Cup Series Toyota Owners 400 goes green Saturday, April 26th at 7 p.m. ET.

A complete schedule of events at the track is available here, and race-day activities off the track can be found here. Check out the driver appearance schedule here, and the Fan Guide for RIR online here.
