The fourth race in the 2013 NHRA Countdown to the Championship is the Auto-Plus NHRA Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway near Reading, Pennsylvania, taking place Thursday through Sunday, October 3rd through 6th. The stars of the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series will be joined by the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series throughout the weekend. Last year, five of the eight national records were reset at Maple Grove Raceway, leading to bonus points in the title chase.
On-track action gets underway Thursday with Sportsman qualifying beginning at 8:45 a.m. ET and Comp Eliminator qualifying at 4 p.m. ET.
On Friday, Sportsman eliminations begin at 8:45 a.m. ET, with Comp Eliminator qualifying at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. ET and Top Alcohol qualifying at 11:30 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. ET. Pro qualifying gets underway at 1:15 and 4:15 p.m. ET.
On Saturday, Sportsman eliminations continue at 8:45 a.m. ET, with two rounds of Comp Eliminator eliminations at 10:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. ET. The final two pro qualifying sessions take place at 11:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. ET, and the final round of Top Alcohol qualifying gets underway at 1 p.m. ET; Top Alcohol eliminations begin at 4 p.m. ET.
Eliminations for the Auto-Plus NHRA Nationals begin Sunday at 11 a.m. ET.
