After a successful debut and wild finish last year, Bowmansville, Ontario’s Canadian Tire Motorsport Park will once again host the only Camping World Truck Series race in Canada, the Chevrolet Silverado 250, on Sunday, August 31st. Joining the Truck Series on the 2.459-mile road course are the Canadian Touring Car Championship, the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada and the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series.
On-track action kicks off on Friday, August 29th with a test session for the Porsche GT3 Cup at noon ET, followed by practice for the Porsches (3 and 4:30 p.m. ET) and the Canadian Touring Car Championship (3:45 p.m. ET).
On Saturday, August 30th, Canadian Touring Car Championship qualifying opens the day at 8 a.m. ET, followed by Porsche qualifying at 8:45 a.m. ET. The Camping World Truck Series (9:30 and 11:35 a.m. ET) and the Canadian Tire Series (10:40 a.m. and 1:10 p.m. ET) practice before racing action gets underway – the first Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada race at 3 p.m. ET and the first Canadian Touring Car Championship race at 4 p.m. ET. The Canadian Tire Series qualifies at 4:40 p.m. ET, followed by the Truck Series qualifying session at 5:40 p.m. ET.
On Sunday, August 31st, Canadian Touring Car Championship qualifying for race No. 2 opens on-track activity at 9 a.m. ET, followed by the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race, Pitny’s presents the Clarington 200, at 10 a.m. ET and the Chevrolet Silverado 250 for the Truck Series at 1:30 p.m. ET. The day ends with the second Porsche race at 4:15 p.m. ET and the second Canadian Touring Car race at 5:15 p.m. ET.
