Heading to Mid-Ohio for 2014 Nationwide Series action? Check this out

The NASCAR Nationwide Series has a stand-alone race this weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. The Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200 weekend is Friday and Saturday, August 15th and 16th, and also includes the Trans-Am Series.

Fans in attendance will be treated to autograph sessions for both series – Friday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. ET for the Nationwide Series stars and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. ET for the Trans-Am Series.

Friday’s on-track action kicks off with two Trans-Am practice sessions at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. ET; they’re followed by Nationwide Series practice at 1:30 and 3 p.m. ET. The day ends with Trans-Am Series qualifying at 4:45 p.m. ET.

On Saturday, Nationwide Series qualifying for the Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200 takes to the track at 9:40 a.m. ET, followed by the Trans-Am race at noon ET. The Nationwide Series race goes green at 2:45 p.m. ET.

Tickets are still available for the Nationwide Series weekend at Mid-Ohio: weekend reserved seating is $60 (two days), and general admission tickets for the weekend are $55. Children 12 and under are admitted free into general admission areas when accompanied by an adult. Find out more about the event and purchase tickets at www.midohio.com.
