Michigan International Speedway, in the Irish Hills of Brooklyn, Michigan, hosts the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Camping World Truck Series this weekend, Friday through Sunday, August 15th through 17th. MIS is promising plenty of fun fan interaction with drivers in both top NASCAR series.

On Saturday, the Budweiser Acceleration Concert begins following the conclusion of the Camping World Truck Series race. On stage will be country artists Keith Anderson and Tim Dugger. The concert is free to anyone with a Saturday admission ticket, an infield wristband or an APEX wristband.

Gates open Friday at 10 a.m. ET, with action getting underway at noon ET with Cup Series practice, followed by Truck Series practices at 1:40 and 3 p.m. ET; Cup Series qualifying ends the day’s activities at 4:35 p.m. ET.

On Saturday, gates open at 8 a.m. ET, with Sprint Cup practice getting underway at 8:30 a.m. ET, followed by Truck Series qualifying for the Race Careers for Veterans 200 at 9:35 a.m. ET. Following the final Cup Series practice at 11 a.m. ET, the Truck Series race goes green at 12:30 p.m. ET.

Gates open Sunday at 8 a.m. ET, with the Pure Michigan 400 Sprint Cup Series race scheduled to take the green flag at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.

Tickets are still available for the August Michigan weekend – tickets for Sunday’s race start at $29, and three-day pit/paddock passes are $60. Get tickets and more information about the race weekend at www.mispeedway.com.
