NASCAR’s Sprint Cup and Camping World Truck Series visit “The Paperclip,” Martinsville Speedway, Friday through Sunday, March 28th through 30th, for the STP 500 Cup race and the Kroger 250 Truck race. The 0.526-mile track is the only track currently on the schedule that was also on the very first NASCAR season schedule.
The Camping World Truck Series has an autograph session Friday, March 28th at 5 p.m. ET. For more driver appearances on Sunday, March 30th, check out the Party Plaza add-on for $30, featuring driver Q-and-A sessions, a pre-race track pass, entertainment, games and more – get more information here.
Gates open throughout the weekend at 9 a.m. ET. On Friday, March 28th, the Truck Series opens up track activities with practice 9 a.m. ET, followed by Cup Series practice at noon ET and the final Truck Series practice session at 3 p.m. ET; the Cup Series qualifies at 4:40 p.m. ET. On Saturday, March 29th, the Cup Series practices at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. ET; the Truck Series qualifies at 11:10 a.m. ET, with the Kroger 250 going green at 2:30 p.m. ET. On Sunday, March 30th, the STP 500 Cup Series race goes green at 1 p.m. ET.
Tickets are still available for the STP 500 weekend at Martinsville Speedway. Tickets for Pole Day on Friday are just $15 (kids 12 and under are free), and tickets for Saturday’s on-track action, including the Truck Series race, are just $30 through March 28th (kids 12 and under are free).
