Heading to Iowa for the 2014 Truck and IndyCar race? Check this out

NASCAR’s Camping World Series joins the Verizon IndyCar Series in Newton, Iowa, home of Iowa Speedway, this weekend, Friday and Saturday, July 11th and 12th, for the American Ethanol 200 and Iowa Corn Indy 300.

On Friday, gates open at 8 a.m. CT, with Truck Series practice at 8:30 and 11:30 a.m. CT; the IndyCar Series practices at 10 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. CT, with IndyCar qualifying sandwiched in between at 2 p.m. CT. The Truck Series qualifies at 4:40 p.m. CT and runs the American Ethanol 200 at 7:30 p.m. CT.

On Saturday, gates open at noon CT. The Verizon IndyCar Series Iowa Corn Indy 300 presented by DEKALB goes green at 7:30 p.m. CT.

Tickets are still available for the weekend at Iowa Speedway – two-day passes range in price from $40 to $100. Individual day passes are also available – tickets for Friday range in price from $20 to $50 and Saturday tickets range in price from $20 to $60. Visit for more information and to purchase tickets.
