The Nationwide Series returns to Iowa Speedway for the second time this season

NASCAR’s Nationwide Series visits Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa for the 2014 US Cellular 250 Weekend, Friday and Saturday, August 1st and 2nd. Joining the Nationwide Series this weekend are the K&N Pro Series East and West in a combination race.

Fans in town early can check out the Nationwide Series Hauler Parade, heading through Newton on Thursday, July 31st from 6 to 6:30 p.m. CT.

On Friday, gates open at 10:30 a.m. CT with the K&N Pro Series cars on track for practice sessions at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. CT. The Nationwide Series takes to the track for two practices at 3:30 and 6 p.m. CT, sandwiched around K&N Pro Series qualifying at 5 p.m. CT. The K&N Pro Series Autolite Iridium 150 goes green at 8 p.m. CT.

On Saturday, gates open at noon CT, with Nationwide Series qualifying at 3:40 p.m. CT. The Nationwide Series US Cellular 250 presented by New Holland goes green at 7 p.m. CT.
