The IZOD IndyCar Series awards its championship at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California, site of the MAVTV 500 IndyCar World Championships on Saturday, October 19th. The race is also the last event in the Fuzzy’s Triple Crown.
On Friday, October 18th, the Firestone Indy Lights open up on-track activity with practice at 9:45 a.m. PT; qualifying for the Indy Lights’ Lefty’s Kids Club 100 takes place at 1:15 p.m. PT, followed by IZOD IndyCar Series qualifying at 2:15 p.m. PT. The day ends with Indy Lights practice at 5:05 p.m. PT followed by IndyCar Series practice at 6:05 p.m. PT.
On Saturday, October 19th, a full day of activity on and off the track kicks off at 12:30 p.m. PT with an appearance by Josef Newgarden in Lefty’s Fun Zone, followed by the IndyCar all-driver autograph session at 1 p.m. PT in the IndyCar Fan Village. Throughout the day, there will be live music, freestyle motocross exhibitions by the Metal Mulisha and Luche Libre wrestling exhibitions, all taking place in the Fan Zone. The Firestone Indy Lights Lefty’s Kids Club 100 goes green at 2:30 p.m. PT, followed by the IZOD IndyCar Series MAVTV 500 at 5:50 p.m. PT.

Tickets are still available for the final IndyCar weekend of the season – tickets for Friday range in price from $20 to $30 and kids 12 and under receive free general admission.
