NASCAR’s Chase for the Sprint Cup heads to Dover, Delaware for the AAA 400 weekend, Thursday through Sunday, September 26th through 29th at Dover International Speedway. Also on the schedule for the weekend: the Nationwide Series and the K&N Pro Series East.
On Thursday, September 26th, Dover introduces the NASCAR Hauler Showcase and Parade, taking place at the Blue Hen Corporate Center, 655 S. Bay Rd. in Dover, from 4 to 6 p.m. ET. Cup Series haulers will be lined up according to points before making their way down the parade route through downtown Dover. Find out more about the event, including the parade route, here.
The K&N Pro Series East takes to the track for practice on Thursday – gates open at 2 p.m. ET, with practice lasting until 5 p.m. ET. On Friday, gates open at 10 a.m. ET and the on-track action includes K&N Series qualifying, Cup and Nationwide Series practice, Cup Series qualifying and the K&N Pro Series East Drive Sober 150. Gates open at 10 a.m. ET on Saturday, with on-track action including Nationwide Series qualifying, Cup Series practice and the Nationwide Series 5-Hour Energy 200 benefitting Living Beyond Breast Cancer. On Sunday, gates open at 10 a.m. ET with the AAA 400 Sprint Cup Series race beginning at 2 p.m. ET, following a concert from country duo Thompson Square at 11:15 a.m. ET in Victory Plaza.
