The fourth event of the 2014 NASCAR season is the Food City 500 weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee. Racing takes place Friday through Sunday, March 14th through 16th and also features the Nationwide Series and the K&N Pro Series East and West.
Fans can check out Food City Race Night on Friday, March 14th from 4 to 9 p.m. ET in the Hospitality Area. The event will feature driver autograph sessions, racing simulators, live entertainment and food sampling while supplies last.
On Friday, gates open at 11 a.m. ET, with practices for both Cup and Nationwide Series starting at noon ET; Cup Series pole qualifying begins at 4:35 p.m. ET. Gates open at 9 a.m. ET on Saturday, with Cup Series practice at that time, followed by Nationwide Series qualifying at 10:05 a.m. ET; after the final Cup Series practice at noon ET, the Drive to Stop Diabetes 300 Presented by Lilly Diabetes Nationwide Series race goes green at 2 p.m. ET, followed by the K&N Pro Series East and West’s PittLite 125 at 4:45 p.m. ET. Sunday’s Cup Series Food City 500 takes the green flag at 1 p.m. ET after an 11:15 a.m. ET concert by Colt Ford; gates open at 9 a.m. ET.
