The weather is warming up so go out and taste some wine at the Santa Cruz Mountains Passport Day, January 19. With over fifty Santa Cruz Mountains wineries in the Passport Program- from Half Moon Bay to Gilroy - your experience is bound to be unique and memorable. From mountain top vistas to passing llamas along the winding drive through the Santa Cruz Mountains each Winery has a flavor that will leave you wanting more.
From Ahlgren to Zayante the Wineries of the Santa Cruz Mountains will once more open their doors to Passport participants on Saturday, January 19, 2012 between 11 am and 5 pm. The Passport Program offers a unique opportunity for visitors to visit wineries not typically open to the public at other times. Passport holders will be invited to tour the facilities, meet the winemakers, and sample the fruits of their labors - including special wines poured only for participants in the Passport Program! Passports are valid until all wineries have been visited. Passports are only $45 per person and the best part is the Passport is good for one visit to each winery throughout the year! You can also use your Passport on other days with wineries that have typical tasting hours.
The Passport Program is repeated on the 3rd Saturday of April, July & November each year. This allows guests to visit the vineyards during each season of the growing cycle. Spend a wonderful day at the wineries in the company of winemakers, and bring home some great wine to treasure and share with friends for any occasion!
