Here’s your chance….
The King Harbor Yacht Club hosts the seventh annual King Harbor Sea Fair on Sunday, May 18 from 12 to 5 p.m.
This free, family friendly event offers a unique opportunity to prepare for the summer boating season.
Sea Fair promotes safe boating practices and environmental awareness, while highlighting recreational opportunities in our harbor.
The event features over 60 local participating organizations, free outrigger canoe and sail boat rides, kid’s crafts and activities, stand-up paddleboard demonstrations, life jacket and safety show and a variety of boat and marine displays.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase along with live music and a free raffle drawing with fabulous prizes.
In addition, the Irving Johnson Tall Ship will be at this year’s event. Sea Fair attendees can tour the ship while she’s moored in the harbor for FREE! Special passage to and from San Pedro will also be available (for a fee)! To make reservations, visit the website at http://lamitopsail.org.
There will be several other events in and around the marina and a free shuttle with stops at KHYC, SEA Lab, Redondo Beach Yacht Club and attractions in between.
