Attention Rocky Mountain area superhero fans! One of the coolest Sci-Fi convention runners in the area, GalaxyFest, is hosting a geeky good time tomorrow night, Fri Apr from 4pm to 8pm for all ages, 8pm-2am for 21 and over at the Zodiac Venue/Bar. The GalaxyFest AfterGlow Party is the chance to hang with fellow nerds, enter a costume contest, play karaoke, and hopefully win a prize or two. Who doesn’t love free stuff? The AfterGlow Party will be handing out door prizes every half hour, the ever popular swag bag with comic books and other treats. Cosply it up for prizes involved with the costume and trivia contests. Superhero fans are in luck as they will be celebrating the release of Captain America: Winter Solder with movie ticket giveaways and more.

Superhero fans young and young at heart will no doubt have a blast at the GalaxyFest AfterGlow Party. There will be a slight cover charge of $5.00 at the door. A portion of the cover goes to entertainment, a percentage to this year’s charity, The Homeless Foundation, and a part to GalaxyFest to help bring in guests for next year. The GalaxyFest organization always brings the fun in with their annual Colorado Springs convention and no doubt, this even will be a perfect way to spend a Friday night.
