He knows the way I take

Aftermath of the earthquake in Haiti
Aftermath of the earthquake in Haiti

Today while going over my "Praise Break" for the week (which can be found at every Wednesday) I thought of all the disasters that are happening; namely the earthquakes and aftermath in Haiti. Below is the post I did.

Praise Break: A moment in the midpoint of the week just to stop and pay reverence, and seek encouragement to get us through the remainder of the week.

Job 23:10

"But He knows the way I take; when He has tested me, I will come forth as gold."

God tests us and put us through certain circumstances for several reasons, but it’s only for His will to be done and for us to be not the same but conformed, molded, better… Even a diamond goes through a lot of pressure in order for it to shine. My heart goes out to those directly affected by the tragedy in Haiti. I know some people may question God and wonder how could something so bad happen to His children; how could He allow such disasters to take place. My stand on this topic is that adversity comes to make us stronger and to bring us closer to our creator. We forget that God has a purpose for everything; it may hurt and abiding by His will may be tough, but it's a must-do. God won't bring us to something that He can't see us through. Hold tight to your faith and know there's a purpose for your struggle; be encouraged.

May God bless you & keep you

God shines the brightest in our darkest hour. He sometimes has to bring us down to show us just how powerful he truly is.... to show us that he IS THE GOD! Always remember that his plan is PERFECT and he makes no mistakes. Let your faith lead you into the unknown. He may not take you out of the storm but he will remain with you through it all and give you the strength to endure.... simply acknowledge his presence and power. Be Blessed.
