Criminals don’t need guns to commit crimes, even though the president and many in Congress believe that they can cure the ills of this country by coming up with more ideas how to limit guns, take them away, limit ammo purchases, and how many rounds of ammo can be in a clip, the crime will still go on.
Case in point – NBCNews.com reports that a woman was thrown onto subway tracks (Video). Her assailant grabbed her, then dragged her to the edge of the platform, and threw her onto the tracks of the SEPTA subway station in Philadelphia’s Chinatown district. The victim, who could have easily been electrocuted, or run over by an oncoming train, was very fortunate to walk away with only minor cuts and bruises.
The suspect had no gun, and in the video, he appeared to be determined that he was going to just do what he wanted to do, and that was apparently to kill an innocent person. The suspect was nabbed by a SEPTA officer two days later. Police said he was wearing the same jacket and was carrying the victim's cell phone.
The problem with Obama’s ideas are that no matter how many guns he tries to take, no matter how much ammo he refuses to allow law abiding citizens to purchase, and no matter how much he talks, violent crimes will continue. This is a case that proves the point.
Knives, gasoline, hammers, pitchforks and the like will just be a few of the instruments of murder we will continue to see regardless how much the left wants to stop it all by removing guns.
