HBO trailer teases viewers with three seconds of Blue Ivy Carter's sonogram

Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter Blue Ivy Carter recently turned one, but video footage of her much, much younger emerged on Friday. As part of a trailer for an upcoming HBO documentary, "Life is But a Dream," which is scheduled to premiere on Feb. 16, viewers get to see three seconds of the singer's sonogram showing Blue Ivy.

The footage shows Beyonce speaking candidly about the difficulties of hiding her pregancy from the media. She said,

They keep putting me in these tight clothes and trying to hide it. It's very difficult. I don't know how I'm going to get through this.

"Life is But a Dream" will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes footage shot by Beyonce herself, including home video, concert footage, and even material shot with the singer's own laptop.

The documentary is not just about her pregnancy. It also shows Beyonce's Houston childhood and adds an insight into the challenges the singer felt when she made the decision to manage her own career and build her own company, Parkwood Entertainment.

How do I stay current? How do I stay soulful? I felt like I had been so commercially successful, it wasn't enough. [If] you can't express yourself, you can't grow. It's the battle of my life so I set a goal and my goal was independence.

I'm a human being. I cry, I get scared, I get nervous just like everybody else.

In a statement, HBO said:

It [the documentary] also captures the intense physical and emotional demands she goes through in the studio, preparing for live performances, running a business and her family life, including her return to the spotlight after the birth of her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, in January 2012.

Beyonce is scheduled to perform at Super Bowl XLVII on Feb. 3, slightly less than two weeks before her documentary debuts. Her former girl group Destiny's Child will perform with her during the half time of the Super Bowl.

She has also announced this week that she will be releasing music with Destiny's Child this year.
