HBO denies future 'True Blood' movie

Yesterday, Jan. 10, HBO denied knowing anything about the rumors that are spreading that "True Blood" would be turned into a movie that would be released in 2016. Many fans are upset that the vampire show that has been part of their lives now for almost seven seasons will be ending this season and man are asking for more.

But, where did these rumors start? I know that I mentioned it about 4 years ago and predicted that the show would end after the seventh season, the year after the "Sookie Stackhouse" book series would end. I thought that it would be like a few other television shows to movie endings that were successful for fans and brought just one more final story for closure for the fans.

Stephen Moyer mentioned in 2013 at his movie opening, "Free Ride" that he could not confirm a movie coming out in 2015 but “I’m not sure about the summer of 2015, but if things go the way I’m hoping, there will be something to watch in the summer of 2016. Which we’ll have an announcement about soon…ish. I cannot talk about it yet.”
