Earlier this month the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri reported that two dogs had been stolen from their Cape Girardeau, Mo. shelter. Silvey, the young female Pit Bull, has since been recovered.

Silvey had been spayed two days prior to her theft. Upon her return to the shelter, she was taken to a veterinarian to be treated for an infection that had developed from that surgery.

Hazard is still missing and the Cape Girardeau shelter is asking for your help. They are still offering a $500.00 reward for his safe return or information leading to his recovery.

Hazard is described as a seven year old, red (chocolate), male, Pit Bull Terrier, with a stocky build.

If you have any information regarding Hazard or his whereabouts, please contact the Cape Girardeau Police Department at (573) 335-6621
