The Hawks' shooting Tuesday night in Chicago was just as cold as the winter weather that slammed into Atlanta today, as they fell behind by 27 points in the first half en route to a 100-85 loss to the Bulls.

The game was never close, as the Bulls were stifling on defense and red-hot on offense from the opening tip. The Bulls opened up a 57-30 lead in the second quarter and coasted the rest of the way.

Joakim Noah finished with a triple-double, tallying 19 points, 16 rebounds, and 11 assists for Chicago. Taj Gibson added 24 points and 12 rebounds for the Bulls while filling in for the injured Carlos Boozer.

The Bulls also out-rebounded the Hawks 57-28, as Atlanta was outplayed in every facet of this game. It marked the fourth straight loss for the Hawks, who are hoping to salvage a victory tomorrow night against Toronto before the All-Star Break begins.

With the win, the Bulls (26-25) pulled a half-game ahead of the Hawks (25-25) in the Eastern Conference standings.

Paul Millsap led the Hawks with 15 points., while Jeff Teague had 12 points. Atlanta fell to 9-12 since losing Al Horford for the season, yet remain in the thick of a playoff race despite a .500 record for the season.
