Hawks recall Mike Scott from D-League

2012 second-round pick Mike Scott was recalled to the Atlanta Hawks from the D-League's Bakersfield Jam yesterday afternoon.

Scott, taken with the 43rd overall pick in the NBA draft last summer, had been assigned to the D-League on March 1st. He started three games for the Jam, averaging 24.7 points, 11.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 37.3 minutes (.482 FG%, .909 FT%), putting up a 20/10 performance each night.

Scott now begins his third tenure with the Hawks this season, having been shuttled one other time to Bakersfield as well. He was available for the Hawks' 107-96 victory over Philadelphia last night, entering the game in the final minutes but not attempting a shot.

For the Hawks this season, Scott has now made 26 appearances,all off the bench. In 7.2 minutes of action per appearance, Scott is averaging 2.8 points and 2.0 rebounds. He is shooting 45.2% from the floor this season.

The Hawks will face the Celtics in Boston on Friday night.
