Did you know? A hawk can see up to 8 times more clearly than a human, and distinguish objects two to three times farther away – comparative to a human reading the newspaper from seven stories high.

What: You’re invited to join your friends at Irvine Nature Center as they soar into the world of some fierce feathered friends – hawks. At Hawks & Heinekens, guests will gain an appreciation for these winged hunters. Look forward to a presentation by Irvine's Naturalist/Animal Care & Exhibit Coordinator Laura Soder. Yep, catering will be provided by one of Irvine’s preferred caterers, Innovative Gourmet and beverages, cocktails and a simple dinner will be served.

Who: Open to general public especially bird lovers whereas, there is a no children policy at this event. The cost of admission is members’ $20 non-members & guests $30. Click here to purchase tickets.
