Hawk Mountain Photo Competition

See also

Hawk Mountain located in Kempton, PA is a wildlife sanctuary open to the public year-round, the world's largest member-supported raptor conservation organization and is one of the best places in northeastern North America to view the annual autumn hawk migration.

The world-famous sanctuary is now offering the Hawk Mountain Digital Photo Contest where both professional and amateur photographers are eligible to participate. Photos can be submitted now through October 31. The contest is sponsored by Dan's Camera City, in Allentown and Easton.

Entries cost $10 for five images and there is no limit on the numbers of images submitted. But the only photos which can be submitted must have been taken at Hawk Mountain. The photos can be scenery or wildlife from the trails, views from the lookouts or images of soaring raptors. Plus, the photos don’t necessarily have to be taken in 2014. Even if you have any great photos from last year or from 5 years ago you can submit them in the contest.

Categories include: Scenic views and wild landscapes, Outdoor Recreation, Native Flora, Raptors and other Birds, and Other Wildlife. Images cannot be manipulated or infringe on any copyright.

Winning images will be used in upcoming publications and products and will be on display in an exhibit at the visitor center.
