Homemade pizza is a quick fix for the kids lunch time during the summer months. If you use an already made pizza crust such as Boboli, you can turn out a meal quicker than you can say "that's amore!" Hawaiian pizza is a twist on the Italian versions that you may not be as familiar with. At first you may think that the flavors sound a little strange, but once you try it you will be hooked.
Kendra's Hawaiian Pizza
- 1 Boboli pizza crust
- 3 slices Prosciutto
- 1/2 can of pineapple chunks, drained of juice (you can use more pineapple if you wish)
- Mexican blend shredded cheese
- Mozzarella cheese
- cilantro for garnish if you wish
Roughly chop the prosciutto and place pieces on pizza crust. Place pineapple chunks on pizza crust. Sprinkle cheese over the toppings. You may use more or less cheese depending on how much cheese you like on your pizza. Bake in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Garnish with cilantro right before serving if you wish.

I love pineapple on pizza - sounds like a tasty recipe (minus the meat for me, of course!)
