Hawaiian Airlines stowaway: 16 y/o survives flight in plane's wheel well

A Hawaiian Airlines stowaway survived a flight from California to Hawaii in a plane's wheel well. According to a video report by GeoBeats, the 16-year-old boy hopped a fence at the San Jose Airport and climbed into the plane's wheel well where he remained for several hours. The boy was uninjured when he was discovered in Hawaii.

When the plane landed in Maui, the boy's body was spotted on the tarmac. Emergency crews rushed to help him and authorities soon learned his story. The teen got into a fight with his family and fled to the airport for refuge. He says that he doesn't remember anything about the 5+ hour flight over the Pacific Ocean.

Despite having limited oxygen and subjecting his body to frigid temperatures, the stowaway checked out just fine at the hospital -- which is amazing to say the very least. The teen is not being charged with any crime. More on this story in the video above.
