In celebration of both National Pet Week and Be Kind to Animals Week during May 4-10, 2014, the Hawaii Veterinary Medical Association (HVMA) proudly presents HAWAII PET EXPO 2014, to be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 10 & 11. This year’s theme is “Celebrate a Healthy Pet.”

This year HAWAII PET EXPO also celebrates 25 years of encouraging responsible pet ownership and strengthening the unique bond between people and their pets through educational displays, live animal demonstrations, and the latest in pet products and services.

Every year, Hawaii Veterinary Medical Association puts together the Hawaii Pet Expo. Games, prizes and educational material for the whole family will be available.

Don't forget, all animals must be leashed/contained and controlled by their owners at all times. Please refrain from bringing dogs in heat or aggressive animals. This is not a place to bring an anxious dog because it is crowded, noisy and there are many other dogs. The excessive stimulation can stress your pet.

Donations of nonperishable food items are being accepted at the door to benefit the Hawaii Foodbank.
