Having a breakdown

Your break-down is for a buildup! There are times that we may feel like we are broken down; collapsing; crashing; failing; rundown; overcome; defeated; destroyed; knocked down; worn out and cast away. We are like an old vacant building that is empty; dark; abandoned and condemned… A hopeless eyesore that is useless; miserable and disheartened. But sometimes there needs to be a breakdown, before there is a buildup!

The walls of Jerusalem were a pile of rubbish; broken up; burned down, and unfixable. But as GOD used Nehemiah and HIS people; providing the new material to replace the old; and protecting them against them enemy…they rebuilt what had been torn down and destroyed. They built it without fail and without disappointment. It was then, complete and restored. This took place because they sought GOD through it all. They faced opposition; but they called on the GOD. What had been broken down was now built up! And everyone around acknowledged that it was the work of the GOD.

Don’t get discouraged when things appear to fall apart all around you. Don’t give up when it seems that you have been abandoned by people. Don’t lose hope when it seems that your situation is unfixable. A condemned home needs to be totally torn down in order for the builders to make a well-built new home. The Bible says we are GOD’S workmanship (Masterpiece). Sometimes we have to be totally broken down in order to be made new.

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;” 2 Corinthians 4:8-9
A temporary break down, can become an eternal build up….. if you refuse to quit; and if you allow GOD to do HIS work. It’s not over; it’s simply a breakdown for a buildup.
