Craven County Republicans celebrated the opening of their Havelock Headquarters on Saturday.
Senator Jean Preston was on hand, as well Commissioner Steve Tyson, Trent Woods Mayor and head of the Craven County GOP Chuck Tyson along with candidates and other elected officials in the area.
Chairman Tyson gave a speech concerning the GOP's determination to win the County in every office and to make sure the Republican Party wins at the State level.
The Havelock office stands ready to assist voters in many areas, including registration, where to vote, information about candidates and the Republican Party.
Located near the Westbrook Plaza at 306 Highway 70 East in Havelock, there is parking and a friendly staff waiting to meet everyone in the area.
After the formalities, door prizes were given away and several people dropped in to enjoy refreshments, meet candidates and ask questions about the upcoming elections. Several potential voters voiced support for the party and/or candidates and wanted to make sure they knew where to vote and what district they are in.
